1989 was the year FABIAN Group took its birth in Bangladesh, fired by the spirit of coping up with the growing demands for garment accessories in this part of the world.
Md. Tazul Islam, a visionary, a philanthropist and a person with his strong habits of caring for the people of the globe in general and Bangladesh in particular, initiated the process and founded FABIAN GROUP, with the birth of its first manufacturing facilities, Fabian Industries Limited. “FBN”, today’s part and parcel of Bangladesh’s apparel fraternity, is the popular brand for various types of accessories in general and zip fasteners in particular. FBN zippers are extensively used by Retailers in Europe, U.K., U.S.A. etc. for their fastening requirements of different types of merchandise. FBN continues its expansiion reach to cover the globe.
FABIAN Group has a strong presence in the Apparel fraternity with Fabian Industries Ltd, manufacturer of “FBN” zippers, the 1st zipper manufacturing industry in Bangladesh, producing all types of zippers, i.e. Metal, Nylon, Plastic etc. Its current capabilities of being able to produce “Special Type” technology, smooth-and-sharpness-free, metal zippers are well acknowledged and appreciated by the entire bottoms manufacturers in Bangladesh, for applications covering trousers, formal pants, cargo shorts, denims…..so on.
Growing demands for sewing thread, Polyester and Embroidery, are met by Fabian Thread Limited with its manufacturing facilities at Chittagong. Multi color polyster thread is the latest addition to this product range, which serves the purpose of fashion and function, particularly for ladies garments.
All types of labels, woven, satin & printed are catered by its completely computerized automatic facilities at Fabitex Industries Limited, which is at the close proximity of the thickly populated garment manufacturers in Tejgaon Industrial Area at Dhaka.
